This was the Viper Training Squadron on board the Hestia. The aircraft used are exclusively Mark IIs. The squadron's more recently become something of a running joke amongst Hestia's Air Wing, who've nicknamed its squadron leader 'Training Wheels'. After the holocaust, its original purpose to train new pilots has been left by the wayside, and it's been since repurposed as a strike fighter wing. It's managed to sustain amongst the fewest losses due to its use of the Mark II fighters, which have not been susceptible to cylon jamming.
